Welcome to the International Piano Series, successor to SJE Arts International Piano Series. We have now completed one very successful season and we are launching our second: ten concerts and a masterclass, running from October 2026 through to the end of May 2027.
The season includes favourite performers from past years along with an exciting range of newcomers to the Series – pianists who have caught Artistic Director, Michèle Smith’s eye or come with special recommendation. Joining us for the first time: the inspirational Joanna MacGregor; BBC Young Musician 2024 Ryan Wang; Japanese pianist Yuko Sano, and Ingrid Fliter, celebrated for her interpretations of Chopin’s music. For the full programmes and other information, please check the individual events.

St John’s College and St Hilda’s College have once again offered their hospitality and we are most grateful. We will be holding four concerts at each, with two further concerts – Paul Lewis in February and Angela Hewitt in May – at the splendid new Sohmen Concert Hall in the Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities.
Our thanks also to those generous people who sponsor our concerts. Sponsorship gives us the freedom to be daring, to engage exceptional pianists, and it is very much appreciated.
